Solana&rsquo;s<a href=\"https:\/\/solana.com\/news\/network-health-report-june-2025\"><\/a>DEX volume routinely tops <a href=\"https:\/\/solana.com\/news\/network-health-report-june-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">$3 billion per day<\/a>. Phantom, Solana&rsquo;s dominant wallet, grew from 15 million monthly active users in early 2025 to a peak of <a href=\"https:\/\/phantom.com\/learn\/blog\/from-crypto-to-finance-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">almost 17 million<\/a> by mid-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SOL hit its all-time high of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investing.com\/crypto\/solana\/historical-data\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">$294.85<\/a> on January 19, 2025, then entered a prolonged correction. A large portion of Solana&rsquo;s DeFi TVL sits in a handful of protocols. The platform is a decentralized perpetuals exchange built on its own L1 chain. It processes trades in under 1 second with no gas fees for users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The usage metrics are hard to argue with. Hyperliquid <a href=\"https:\/\/beincrypto.com\/hyperliquid-trillion-dollar-milestone-trading-volume\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">crossed $1 trillion<\/a> in cumulative trading volume in March 2025, a milestone that took most centralized exchanges years to hit.
