CoinRabbit hops on: Injective (Interview)

(Last Updated On: )

CoinRabbit: Hi, crypto community! Welcome to Episode 1 of our new biweekly series “CoinRabbit hops on”, where the best place to get a loan on the crypto market talks to different crypto entities about latest developments, governance, community & future of
the crypto world.

This week’s guest is Injective! Let’s get to the interview!

Injective: Injective is the first sector-specific layer one blockchain built for finance. Injective’s mission is to democratize finance through decentralization and empower developers with the best Web3 infrastructures. A lot of the other blockchains are built with a multitude of scenarios in mind, but Injective is built specifically for finance, and every upgrade and integration is made to ensure the network is providing the right solutions for its DeFi ecosystem.

One of the key features to help Web3 finance apps is Injective’s highly interoperable network. Injective is natively compatible with Cosmos and Ethereum and is integrated with popular L1s, including, but not limited to, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Polkadot.

Injective provides plug-and-play modules that allow developers to take advantage of any of these benefits to build premier DeFi applications for users.

Injective:To increase adoption from a builder perspective, Injective is focused on educating and also creating avenues for builders to reach new audiences. First, Injective hosted a Global Virtual Hackathon to both educate and also support new builders looking to launch on Injective. With over $1 million available in prizes, Injective was able to reach new developers and create a flywheel of new dApps launching within its ecosystem. Secondly, Injective launched its own Ecosystem Venture Group, in which developers can reach out to a consortium of members who are looking to support (both monetarily and through mentorship) builders on Injective.  Injective is also dedicated to adding new features and solutions to expand adoption. One of its latest launches, Cascade, is aimed at bridging the gap between the Solana ecosystem and Injective ecosystem by creating an SVM rollup on Injective. As the first SVM rollup for the broader IBC ecosystem, Cascade will allow Solana developers to utilize their familiar tooling and coding language on Injective, opening up new possibilites for enhanced cross-platform development and adoption.

Injective:One of the newest innovations within the blockchain space is “restaking,” which allows users to stake a Liquid Staking Token (LST) to to both extend security and potentially earn additional rewards. As Injective is a blockchain built for finance, it is no stranger to liquid staking protocols, such as Stride or Hydro Protocol, the latest dApp to join the Injective Ecosystem. As restaking continues to evolve, it promises to become a noteworthy aspect within the Injective Ecosystem. This concept holds the potential for rapid and advantageous development, benefitting the larger web3 finance community as a whole.

Injective:The instant transaction finality of 25,000+ TPS can effectively prevent congestion during peak trading periods.

Injective:Injective is decentralized, and anyone can build on top of Injective. That means the Injective network is not controlled or limited by a single individual or entity. The wide range of dApps built on Injective enables users from all over the world to have access to different financial products and services.

InjectiveAs Injective is a decentralized chain and ecosystem, there is not one regional market that it looks to for adoption. However, there has been a lot of momentum in Asian regions, which has been bringing a lot of engagement to the dApps that are built on Injective.

InjectiveCommunity plays a pivotal role in upholding the decentralization of any platform, and the Injective ecosystem is no exception. At the heart of Injective’s governance lies the Injective community, empowering every member to actively participate in shaping its future.

Through the Governance section on Injective Hub, community members have the authority to submit diverse proposals. These proposals encompass a wide array of activities, ranging from text proposals to spot market launches, instant spot market launches, and perpetual market launches. Moreover, community-driven initiatives, such as grants programs, can also be proposed to foster further growth and development within the ecosystem. This inclusive approach ensures that the Injective community remains at the forefront of decision-making and continues to drive the platform’s evolution.

InjectiveAs the finance industry continues to evolve, it is essential to merge traditional finance with decentralized finance. Injective is continuing to help bridge that gap – first with its fully decentralized orderbook exchange, which allows for a familiar trading environment for institutions, and second with its integration of oracles, such as Pyth, that allows Injective to call on both crypto and real world asset market data. Integrations such as these help push and evolve DeFi for future use.
